Hatteras Girl, by Alice J. Wisler

Jackie Donovan has her heart set on owning the local bed-and-breakfast where she spent many happy childhood days, but her inquiries as to the ownership of the now-abandoned house prove fruitless…until a  discovery which opens the door to the fulfillment of all her dreams.

Hatteras Girl is a cute, short, feel-good story with an average-Jane main character who has a few likable quirks and flaws. There are a lot of secondary characters in the book, none of which are very well-developed, but that works in a quick read like this.

My rating: 4/5
